Particulate Filter

Description

The Kite particulate filter is compatible with any type of Kite powered air purifying respirators.

It’s also known as a ‘P3 filter’, and protects against dry or moist particles only. It filters over 99.95% of dust from incoming air, but does not protect against gases.

The filter media is water-repellent, but will block the air flow if it gets wet. A used filter cannot be cleaned, it has to be replaced with a new one when it becomes clogged.

Warning: Never clean the filter with compressed air. This could damage the filter media and cause leaks that could contaminate the device and lead to malfunctions.
